The Bud Shootout is this weekend. Except it's not called the "Bud Shootout" anymore. The powers that be (and the lords of corporate sponsorship) have determined the first NASCAR exhibition of the year will be called the "Sprint Unlimited".  Did I mention that I hate my cell phone?  Different subject.  Bottom line is I get to get me some NASCAR on TV this weekend and that's all

I am exhibiting all the signs of an addict. Nervous twitches. Random yelling. Inhaling unhealthy amounts of energy drinks. I'm surprised the authorities haven't checked my shed. No, I'm not running a meth lab. It's just that I miss NASCAR and the Daytona 500 can't get here quick enough.

I don't tend to talk about racing on my radio show as much as I used to a few years ago.  Like many folks that have loved Nascar over the years, I have kind of lost interest since they made all the changes to the cars that made everything...well, kind of boring.  But there's no escaping this is the best day of racing you will see in 2012.  The Indy 500 will be rolling in the next couple hours and
