Area favorite Chris Cavanaugh will be performing Saturday, April 6 at the Holler & Swaller Saloon in Quincy. The show starts at 10 p.m. The Holler & Swaller is located at 3rd & Hampshire, underneath Tiramisu Restaurant.

We enjoyed getting to know Chris Cavanaugh when he was in town earlier this year for the Quincy Firefighter's show. It was obvious to us that he is a very talented singer/songwriter/performer, so we decided to catch up with him and get an update on what he's up to these days. As it turns out, Chris has a brand new EP coming out on iTunes this week!

Just a reminder, that new artist, Chris Cavanaugh will be performing this Saturday (5/19) at the Holler & Swaller Saloon, at 500 York, here in Quincy. Showtime is scheduled to begin at 8 pm. As you might remember, Chris was the opening act for the Josh Thompson concert here in Quincy in March, and also at Jake Owen's concert for Quincy Firefighters Local 63 last year as well.

This is the second in an on-going series of features to help you learn more about unsigned country singers and/or songwriters in our area.  If you went to Quincy Firefighter's concert this year or last, then you know Chris Cavanaugh already.  He opened for Jake Owen in Quincy last year and Josh Thompson last month.
