Summer on 6th Series Coming to Downtown Quincy

Downtown Quincy is the place you are gonna want to be for "Summer on 6th"--an event hosted by different downtown businesses featuring entertainment and some of the best sales you're going to find.

Throughout the summer, several downtown businesses will take turn hosting Summer on 6th and that store will stay open until 8:00 pm. During these dates, 6th Street between Maine and Hampshire will be closed for live entertainment, kids activities, and games.

Some seating is available, but articipants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the free summer series. The first night of Summer on 6th is June 21st, followed by July 19th, August 16th & September 20th.

Ally's Boutique Quincy, Potter & Vaughn, Yoga7even - Quincy, Muddy River Soap Company, Quincy Brewing Company, Grown -N- Gathered, The Sweet Apricot Shop, & Domestics, Etc. will be hosting the summer series events throughout the summer.

I have always wanted downtown businesses to stay open a little later as it's hard (for me at least) to get to shopping done during the week when businesses close at 5:00. This will be a nice chance for people who can't get away during the week to enjoy late night shopping in downtown Quincy.
