Sarah’s Place Dedication This Sunday In Hannibal

We told you about the special home in Hannibal being prepared in honor of the life of Sarah Roth. That special home is now ready for the public to see and the dedication is this Sunday in Hannibal at First Christian Church. Senior Minister, Steve Barker, had this to say about Sarah's Place.

First Christian Church (D of C) in Hannibal will hold a dedication for Sarah’s Place at 11:30 a.m. following worship in the sanctuary. Then from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. we will have an open house for the public to walk through Sarah’s Place.

 

Sarah’s Place will be a residence for those in hospice care to come toward the end of their life. There are many people who do not wish to die at home and we are providing free of charge to those that meet the guidelines and criteria to come to at the time in their life’s journey. I went to school with Sarah in Hannibal and she was a tremendously sweet person and I'm thrilled to see her church remember her in such a unique way.
