Easter may be late this year, but that is not stopping local Easter Egg Hunts and the arrival of the Easter Bunny.

Easter will be on April 16th this year, but there are several local Easter Egg Hunts taking place the week before. Here are some of the hunts you and your family might want to take part of.

4/01 - The Easter Bunny arrives at the Quincy Mall April 1st. Make sure you stop by the fountain court and get your picture taken with Mr. Bunny. To see when the Easter Bunny will be at the Quincy Mall for photos click here

4/08 - County Market in Hannibal (202 Steamboat Bend) 11 AM - 1 PM. They are giving away two bikes (one for a girl and one for a boy), plus a coring contest and a REALLY BIG Easter Basket as a grand prize.

4/08 - Easter Pizza Fun Night at Gem City Gymnastics. From 6:30-9:30 on April 8th come out for pizza, soda, candy and an Easter Egg Hunt You must pre-register call 217-224-8491 to reserve your spot.

4/08 - The Hy-Vee on Harrison along with the Quincy Park District will be hosting an Egg Hunt for all ages. Registration is at 10 AM with the egg hunt starting at 11.

4/09 - Quincy YMCA Easter Egg Hunt in the pool. From 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM swim your way to finding eggs. Find the golden egg and win a prize, this event is for all ages. Make sure to register by April 7th

4/09 - You can't forget about your four-legged friends, bring your dogs to the 2nd Annual Doggie Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by Pet Supplies Plus. It will be help on Sunday April 9th from 2-4 PM and everyone in the family is invited. This is an indoor event with a $5 fee to participate. Eggs will be place throughout Pet Supplies Plus and if you find the the egg withe the "golden bone" you get 1 or 10 prizes donated by local businesses.

4/15 - County Market located at 24th & Spring and 48th & Broadway will be having their Easter Egg Hunts starting at 9 AM. Each isle will be designated for an age group. This is an indoor event.

4/15 - Early Bird Kiwanis will be hosting their 30th annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Mabee Sports Complex on the campus of Hannibal Lagrange University. Doors open at 8:30 am and the hunt begins at 10:00.
