Ray Kroc Gets Bio-Pic Treatment

Ray Kroc, native Illinoian, founder of McDonald's, and the man who set up the foundation providing support for Quincy's own Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, has received the bio-pic treatment! From The Weinstein Company, The Founder stars Michael Keaton as the milkshake machine salesman turned restaurant pioneer. The film also stars Nick Offerman & John Carroll Lynch as the McDonald brothers, Linda Cardellini as Kroc's third wife Joan Smith, Laura Dern as his second wife Ethel Kroc, and Patrick Wilson and B.J. Novak in supporting roles. The Founder is directed by The Blind Side and Saving Mr. Banks director John Lee Hancock, and opens in theaters nationwide on August 5th. Check out the first trailer below!
