Quincy’s Muddy River Soap Company Will Be Opening Soon!

There is a new shop in downtown Quincy that you will probably be able to smell from a block or two away (don't worry, that's a good thing).

Muddy River Soap Company will officially open their doors on March 24. They're located at 108 N. 6th in Quincy. The store in a locally-operated business and makes many of their products in house.

Inside you'll find all sorts of soaps, lotion bars, lip balm, washcloths, laundry products and plenty more products that I guarantee will all smell amazing. Their goal is to try to source their raw materials from local producers or wholesalers.

Owners Brian and Michelle Drebenstedt are from the Quincy/Hannibal area and have sold their products at the Quincy Farmer's Market, craft shows, and festivals for quite some time now. So you've probably seen them around town and may even be familiar with some of their products.

Regular hours are Tuesday through Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 to 7:00 pm (including their grand opening on Saturday the 24th). They'll be closed Sundays and Mondays.
