(Quincy, Ill)—Officials at MoDot confirm the Quincy Memorial Bridge reopened  to eastbound traffic this afternoon.

The river level receded sufficiently to allow the bridge to reopen after it was closed last Friday due to the high level of the Mississippi.

MoDot and IDot Crews finished clearing debris and removing barricades around 2 p.m. and traffic is once again flowing on the Quincy Memorial Bridge.
