If you've run in Hannibal-LaGrange University's annual Trojan Turkey Trek before, you will notice some changes in the 2014 edition.

According to HLGU officials, there will be some adjustments to the route for the 5K event. That's because the school's new science building is under construction near the race's original starting line. The trek will still feature the campus' nature trail and the campus itself.

Also new in 2014 is chip timing for the runners by Splitmaster of Sikeston, MO, along with enhancement of the Kids Fun Run course.

The Trojan Turkey Trek is a fundraiser for HLGU mission trips

The trek is scheduled for Saturday, November 1. For more information, call 573-629-3099 or click here.
