For approximately two weeks in May, Quincy’s Vermont Street will be closed from 5th Street to 7th Street due to construction on the Adams County Criminal Justice Center and Adams County Jail. The construction is slated to start on Monday, May 7th, and the city expects the street to re-open on or around May 21 depending on weather and other factors that may affect construction schedules.

In addition, parking near the Courthouse will be limited. Those needing to go to the Courthouse are asked to park across from the Kroc Center and Adams County Health Department and cross the street at the intersection of 5th and Vermont.
