This afternoon, Y101 and KICK-FM will be holding a Pet Food Drive-Thru Drop Off in our parking lot behind the Coach House Restaurant. All of the pet food going to the Paw Pals Pet Food Pantry. The hours for the collection will be from 3 to 5 this afternoon and you don't even need to get out of your car.

We are asking that you purchase an bag of dog food or cat food and bring it by our studios to replenish the supply of the Paw Pals Food Pantry located on State Street in Quincy. Jane Holt will be retiring in a few months and the hope is that the pantry will continue to exist under new ownership after her retirement.

In the meantime, the objective is to help pet owners keep their pets rather than giving them up because they can no longer afford to keep them. The pet shelters are already overloaded so keeping these pets with their owners is important for the shelters, the owners and their pets.

So please make the effort to buy some pet food and drop it by or stop by with a check so Paw Pals can purchase the additional food they will need to get through the winter months.  Again, the drop off is this afternoon from 3 to 5 at the studios of Y101 and KICK-FM.

I already have my Gravy Train bag in my car and hope to see you this afternoon with yours.
