The Shopko store in Palmyra will be closing in early 2018.

According to an article on WGEM.com, the business (which opened in 2012) is set to begin liquidation sales on November 17 and expects to close the doors in February. A spokesperson cites lack of sales as the reason for the closure.

Founded in 1962, Shopko operates 363 stores in 24 states. The closest in this area are Quincy and Fort Madison, Iowa. No word yet on what will replace the Palmyra location.
