A collision involving a car and a semi on US 61 southbound at Palmyra at 9:58 Monday evening injures both drivers and results in charges for a Palmyra man.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says a car driven by 52-year-old Curtis Lawson of Palmyra was northbound in the southbound lanes when it collided with a semi operated by 59-year-old Delbert Hall of Oak Ridge, Missouri.

Hall sustained minor injuries and was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment. Lawson was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
