October Country Concerts Within Driving Distance of the Quincy/Hannibal Area
Following a busy summer, and a surprisingly full concert calendar in September, October is a little slower month for live country music in the area. Still, there are a few good artists coming through the region in October.
Craig Campbell
Craig Campbell will be at Columbia's Blue Note on Friday, October 2. Doors open at 7 for an 8 p.m. concert. Tickets in advance are $15. Tickets are $18 the day of the show.
Lee Brice
Lee Brice will be at the Peoria Civic Center on Thursday, October 8. Showtime is 8 p.m. Doors open at 7. Ticket prices range from $29.50-$52.
Jerrod Niemann
Country fans will be able to see Jerrod Niemann on Saturday, October 10 at Boondocks in Springfield, Illinois. It's an all ages concert, but those under 21 should be accompanied by a guardian. General admission tickets are $20 in advance.
Dan + Shay
Dan + Shay are coming to The Blue Note in Columbia, Missouri on Friday, October 16. Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets are $22 in advance, $25 the day of the show. All ages are welcome. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy
Not really a concert, but something country fans might like to know about. Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy will be appearing at the Peoria Civic Center on Friday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $49.50. They will also perform Friday, October 30 at the Peabody Opera House in St. Louis. St. Louis tickets range in price from $44.50-$199 for VIP tickets.
Joe Diffie
Joe Diffie will be at 54 Country in Fulton, Missouri on Friday, October 23. Tickets in advance are $18. The price goes to $25 October 21-23. No coolers allowed. You must be 18 or older to attend. 1-866-402-8880.
Chase Bryant
Chase Bryant will also be in concert on October 23. His show will be at Boondocks in Springfield. Tickets are $10 in advance. Just like the Jerrod Neimann show, all ages are welcome, but those under 21 should be accompanied by a guardian.

Boondocks is also bringing A Thousand Horses to Springfield in October. Tickets to A Thousand Horses are $15 in advance, and can be purchased online. All ages welcome, those under 21 should be accompanied by a guardian.
