The NFL has changed it's official ruling on what happened with the Chicago Bears' season ending field goal attempt by Bears kicker Cody Parkey.

While nothing was said during the live broadcast on TV on Sunday, social media lit up an hour after the game with talk that the field goal Cody Parkey attempted to make, that if successful, would have given the Bears the win, was indeed blocked.

The kick was originally ruled as a missed field goal. However, on Monday morning NFL official have now officially ruled the play as blocked field goal kick by Treyvon Hester.

According to NFL.COM:

Meticulous review of the Chicago Bears' season-ending missed field goal shows that Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Treyvon Hester tipped the ball just enough off the line of scrimmage to help push it offline.

Sorry Bears fans, the final score of the game will remain the same.
