The Quincy Memorial Bridge, that spans the Mississippi River between West Quincy and Quincy, is now open to traffic after being closed for five days due to flooding.  Illinois Department of Transportation and MoDOT crews have removed signs and barricades to allow traffic to cross. This action was taken after the Mississippi River crested earlier and is beginning to recede.

Traffic had been rerouted to the Bayview Bridge to enter Quincy from Missouri.
