Books. They're what separate humans from animals. And Taco Tuesday. But mostly books. Tomorrow at Clat Adams Park, join us in celebrating the written word as Quincy Public Library kicks off a month of fun and educational activities focused on Chinese art and culture, including a large group reading of Amy Tan's The Joy Luck Club. It's like a massive book club.

And by massive, I mean nationwide. The Big Read event is sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts, with over 75 participating communities, from Eugene, OR to Fort Lauderdale, FL. The initiative runs through June of 2017 and will feature books and activities from around the world. It's free to participate, and there will even be Little Read events to get the young ones involved as well. I promised Laura from Arts Quincy I'd participate, so I'll see you at Clat Adams Park tomorrow at 4pm!
