Lay’s New Chip Flavor Is About As Midwestern As It Gets

Lays is bringing "Taste of America" to your kitchen table with some new themed American Cuisine taste they really hit the nail on the head with their Midwest regional concoction.

Eight new flavors will start hitting the shelves beginning on July 30 and they'll be available through September. There are 12 flavors and, I have to tell you, some of these new flavors look like they would be fantastic and others I am not sure of. Here are your "Taste of America" flavors: Cajun Spice, Crab Spice, Chile Con Queso, Deep Dish Pizza, New England Lobster Roll, Pimento Cheese, Thai Sweet Chili, West Coast Truffle Fries, Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Pepper, Fried Green Tomatoes, Ketchup, and the very Midwestern-sounding Fried Pickles With Ranch.

Here's the catch: you wont see all of these flavors in the Tri-States as each flavor will only be available in the region that inspired it. So it looks like we'll probably fall into the Fried Pickles With Ranch region and maybe the Deep Dish Pizza region (which I imagine will be all over the Chicago area). I am really looking into trying the Cajun Spice, Chili con Queso, Cajun Spice, and Chili con Queso.
