Kip Moore is a busy man, touring with a popular country group. He's currently rocking an opening spot on Lady Antebellum's Take Me Downtown Tour alongside Kacey Musgraves, and he's apparently grown pretty close to the country trio -- so much so that they're taking time before and after shows to work together!

“Lady A are really gracious hosts and they've been super kind to us,” Moore dishes (quote via Phoenix News Times). The 'Downtown' group must feel the same way about the 'Somethin' 'Bout a Truck' singer to take their spare time and use it to work together.

“We've had a good time, we really have," Moore says of his time on the Take Me Downtown Tour. "We've actually done some writing together and stuff and it's been a great tour so far."

We like the sound of that! The rising star dishes that it's mainly been him, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood that have been writing, but there are no talks to release anything -- yet.

“Me, Charles, and Dave have written some, and we're going to write a little more out here, so we'll see if any of them end up making it out at some point," he explains.

Luckily, they've got many more shows to come, which we hope means lots more collaborating! Moore and Musgraves will stick with Lady A for a bit longer before Billy CurringtonDavid Nail and Joe Nichols take over as opening acts. See Lady Antebellum's spring and summer tour dates here.
