The results are in, and Morgan Evans' upbeat love song couldn't hold on for a second week, losing to Kasey Tyndall's foot stomping anthem in this week's KICK It or Keep It.

Morgan Evans and his bouncy Kiss Somebody may be gone, but I have a feeling this isn't the last we'll hear from him, as he heads out on tour with Chris Young on the Losing Sleep tour, his profile will rise in 2018 and may even climb the charts. Evans is currently in the top 50 on the charts with his song. Should he cross into the top 40, we could hear him again. But Tyndall is our clear winner, and she too is climbing the charts, as is Bar That's Open's co-writer (and former Breakthrough Artist) Ashley McBryde. This, like 2017, could be a very good year for new artists in Country music. We're rooting for Tyndall, and let's see if she can go the full four weeks to make the Breakthrough Artist Hall of Fame.

And let's not forget that even though Evans is gone this week, he could come back in a Second Chance slot later this year.

Here is your victor, Kasey Tyndall with Bar That's Open.
