On Thursday, October 9, KICK-FM and The Eagle's Nest Hotel and Conference Center will "takeover" Texas Roadhouse to raise funds for the upcoming Safe Halloween for Kids event.

Safe Halloween for Kids is scheduled for Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the Eagle's Nest Hotel and Conference Center from 6 p.m. - 8:30. Children with special needs may enter beginning at 5 p.m. at the North entrance.

This year will be the second year for Safe Halloween for Kids, which offers area children a chance to trick-or-treat rooms on a designated floor in the Eagle's Nest Hotel and Conference Center. The event will host giveaways, train rides, Pepsi refreshments and games.

In its inaugural year, Safe Halloween for Kids hosted over 2000 visitors, which means that an enormous amount of candy is required to accommodate all of the participating children. Safe Halloween for Kids was designed as a free event, and Texas Roadhouse has kindly stepped up to the plate to help us keep it a free event.

On Thursday, October 9, each table at Texas Roadhouse that donates a minimum of $5 to Safe Halloween for Kids will receive a free cactus blossom or fried pickles (1 per table). For each additional $5 donation, the table will receive a coupon of their choice for a free cactus blossom, fried pickles, or kids meal to be used at a future visit (no limit of additional coupons - good for a future visits – some restrictions apply). In addition, Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% back on gift card sales at the takeover for a future visit.

Funds raised during takeover night will go toward the purchase of candy for Safe Halloween for Kids.
