Earlier this year, IHOP offered All You Can Eat pancakes for just $3.99 to celebrate their 60th anniversary. But that ended on February 11th. You've been wandering around the past two weeks in a lack-of-pancake induced zombie like state. Just waiting for Rick Grimes to come along and stab you in the head with a short stack. Well your wait has come to an end. Temporarily, anyway.

To celebrate their 13th annual National Pancake Day, IHOP is offering a free short-stack of buttermilk pancakes. The fact that it's the 13th National Pancake Day should in no way caution you against sliding into a booth and ordering up your short stack. But don't be surprised if they're served on a machete by a hockey mask wearing waitress.

This is a dine-in only deal, and it's only one per customer from 7am to 7pm. But if it's not enough to go in and get free pancakes, you can get the warm and fuzzies by helping "Make Every Stack Count," as IHOP President Darren Rebeiez put it. "Every stack of pancakes we serve on our signature day counts toward helping our charity partners improve the health and lives of millions of children and families across the country." IHOP will be accepting donations for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Once again, it's only good on a short stack of buttermilk pancakes, and limited to one per customer, but there's nothing topping you from ordering additional pancakes. Maybe a Rooty Tooty Fresh 'N Fruity. Or an omelette if you're feeling something a little more egg based. I recommend the new Spicy Poblano Pepper omelette. It's delicious.
