International Firefighters’ Day

Today, May 4th is International Firefighters' Day. I want to take a moment to thank our full time and volunteer firefighters in the Tri-State area. They're the people that we count on, on the coldest or hottest days of the year, or in the early morning hours to respond in our times of crisis.

I have the privilege of knowing many of these fine folks personally, as you probably do, as well.  I admire their willingness to drop whatever it is they are doing, and heading out to a potentially life-threatening situation.

If you're a firefighter , I am offering up my thanks to you, for your unselfishness to help others in a moment of need.
