Last week, I wanted to find out which high school marching band was the favorite in the area, so I put together a little poll to find out. Two thousand votes later, and we have our answer.

Ben Braun

It's the Quincy Senior High Marching Blue Devils with just shy of 40 percent of votes! Coming in second place is the Clark County High School Marching Indians followed by the Highland High School Marching Cougars in third.

This past Saturday, all three bands (and plenty more) marched in The 21st annual Octoberfest Invitational Parade and Field Competition and ALL of the bands were great. I took my girls to see the festivities and it was truly awesome to watch them light up with excitement when the Blue Devils marched by. In fact, my six-year-old told me that when she gets to be "a big kid", she wants to join the Blue Devil Marching Band too.
