Listen, I know according to calendars and the Earth's axial tilt, it's still technically summer. I'm firmly against seasonal encroachment, and would prefer to celebrate holidays in order. So it does feel a bit weird talking Christmas while still recovering from the Labor Day BBQ hangover.

However! We have to make sure Quincy gets in the Christmas spirit this holiday season. We don't want to roll through town, having it look like a colder version of August (August: The Boringest Month). The District is running a fundraiser drive through the end of the month to help light up The District this holiday season, with the debut of the lighting display the Saturday after Thanksgiving. You can find out more on their Facebook page, and you can make donations toward lighting The Square and The District at their webpage.
