Who are the celebrities you most admire? Who would you love to meet? What would you say to them?

Working in the business that we work in, we occasionally come across a famous person or two. Usually they are musicians, sometimes they are sports, television or movie stars. I came to work once and had a "while you were out" card waiting in my mailbox telling me to return a phone call to Rick Moranis (Louis in' Ghostbusters,' Seymour in 'Little Shop of Horrors,' and the guy that shrunk his kids). I kept the card as a souvenir. You don't miss calls from people you grew up watching on TV very often.

Luckily, I've never been too starstruck and made a complete fool of myself in front of a famous person. Maybe a little bit of a fool, but not a complete fool. The only time I was really at a loss for words was when I went to a PGA Tour event to watch Phil Mickelson play. He birdied the first hole, and I was watching from above the green. As he walked by on his way to the second hole, he looked right at me. I thought about saying something like, "That's the way, Phil!" or, "Good job, Phil!" or, "Nice putt" or something, but they all seemed too corny, so I just smiled.

That's the dilemma when you meet a famous person. What do you talk about? I took my dad backstage to meet Rascal Flatts before a concert in Pittsburgh in 2006. That was the year that the new Busch Stadium opened, and Dad was wearing his Cardinal hat and a Cardinal shirt. As we shook hands and got our autographs, Jay DeMarcus asked Dad, "How's the new stadium?" Then we chatted about baseball. I thought it was really cool that he took a moment to relate to us, one on one.

Have you ever met someone famous? What was it like? If you had a chance to meet your favorite celebrity, what would you talk about?
