A number of local and regional healthcare agencies sponsor a workshop in Hannibal for those affected by autism.

The "Autism Speaks" workshop is Friday, July 25 at 11:30 a.m. on the third floor of the Hannibal Regional Medical Building.

The workshop is targeted toward parents, caregivers, educators and anyone wanting to learn more about helping children with autism. Those who attend will get, among other things, digital copies of the Autism Speaks Took Kit.

The workshop is free and is presented by the University of Missouri Thompson Center, Autism Speaks and the Autism Intervention Research Network on Physical Health.

Space for the workshop is limited, so if you would like to attend, call Alicia at 573-884-7544.
