I love being scared. I love scary movies. I love ghosts and demons and monsters and pure nightmare fuel. Halloween is my favorite time of year. The air is crisp, the nights are dark and full of terror, the movies chill inducing. And of course... the houses are haunted. And there's no better area haunted house than the Hannibal Jaycees Haunted House.

This year, according to their website, they're going for a "Warehouse of Nightmares" motif, which I hope and assume is designed to crawl right inside your brain and shake you to your core. On their Facebook page, they shared an image of Pennywise with Annabelle the doll, so it looks like they'll be delivering on the promise.

Admission to the house is $10 per person. Children 5 and under are not permitted and children 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Back for another is the Zombie Paintball, so you can live out your fantasy of being in The Walking Dead, talking out walkers one by one to protect your crew. Entrance to tour the haunted house AND the zombie paintball range is just $15 for the combo pack, or you can buy a $50 season pass to go all weekend every weekend, but that does NOT include the zombie paintball.

The Hannibal Jaycees Haunted House at 320 South Third Street opens on October 6th, and will run every Friday and Saturday through the 28th, and will be open 7:30 to midnight each night. You can follow them on Facebook for updates.
