Hannibal Free Clinic is relocating from its current location at 711 Grand Avenue to the new Hannibal Regional Medical Building (formerly Salt River Community Health Center) at 3145 North Highway 61. Through a generous arrangement with Hannibal Regional Healthcare System, Hannibal Free Clinic will occupy a portion of this facility. Hannibal Free Clinic will begin seeing patients at its new location on July 5. The new location allows Hannibal Free Clinic to offer its patients expanded access to basic health services, easier access from major highways in the Hannibal area, improved parking, and access to two dental treatment rooms.

Hannibal Free Clinic opened its doors in 2007, in space donated by Douglas Community Services at 711 Grand Avenue. The staff and board of directors of Hannibal Free Clinic is grateful to DCS for its generous support over the past five years, allowing Hannibal Free Clinic to become established and better serve the Hannibal area. This move allows both Hannibal Free Clinic and Douglas Community Services to increase the level of services they provide to our community.

The Hannibal Free Clinic is a local mission offering free, non-emergency, scheduled primary care for uninsured, low income adults age 18 – 65. As a non-profit community charity, its mission is to promote health and wellness by providing quality services, at no charge, to people who are living in poverty without access to basic healthcare.

Hannibal Free Clinic relies totally on volunteer physicians and staff. It receives no state or federal funding. Hannibal Free Clinic is a tax exempt 501 (c) 3 corporation and all donations are tax deductible.
