Normally, I would strongly advise against the consumption of green donuts. See, the problem with most green donuts is that they started out as donut-colored donuts, and gradually evolved into green (i.e. non-donut-colored) donuts. I give you exhibit A:

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON’T EAT THAT! To quote a TLC song I don’t remember all that well, “please stick to the crullers and the cakes that you’re used to.”

But there’s an exception to every rule—even good rules like this one. Beginning Friday, our friends over at Daylight Donuts will begin concocting batches upon batches of green donuts that will definitely not kill you (and they’re delicious too!) Babs confirms that while the idea of green donuts is typically a turn-off, customers put aside their prejudices in the days leading up to St. Patrick’s Day.

She warns that these tinted glazed donuts (don’t worry, it’s just food coloring) will go fast and they're only available Friday and Saturday, so call to place an order in advance or plan on getting there early.
