I mentioned last week that I was going back to school to finish up my bachelor's degree. To fit the course work into my busy work schedule, I elected to take online courses, and four weeks into the course work, it's working out and going well. I would recommend this course of action for anyone else looking to go to school and balance it with a busy work schedule. Fortunately you don't have to look too far for online courses. John Wood Community College starts their next session of online courses on October 17th.

According to the press release, this is perfect for people who are looking at an associates program, or to take classes that can be applied to a bachelor's program at a four year school, but are also working full time and can't make it to rigidly scheduled classes.

They have a wide variety of courses to choose from. Personally, I'd take a look at elementary astronomy and criminal law. It would be prep work to later enroll in the Space Law program at the University of Nebraska. Yeah... Space Law. That's a thing.
