A Hannibal man accused in a mid July stabbing enters a guilty plea. 34-year-old Roy Gillum withdrew a not guilty plea Wednesday and entered a guilty plea to second degree domestic assault. Judge David Mobley sentenced Gillum to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. Gillum was charged after Hannibal Police found at 28-year-old female victim with multiple stab wounds in a back yard in the 2600 block of Chestnut in Hannibal on July 15. Gillum was taken into custody a short time later in the 2400 block of Broadway in Hannibal. The female victim was flown to a Columbia Missouri Hospital for treatment.
