Garth Brooks Announces a Press Conference

Garth Brooks fans expecting a big announcement on Monday morning are going to have to wait a few more days. Instead of big news, the singer revealed an official press conference scheduled for Thursday (July 10).

Few details about what the press conference will include were made available. We do know, however, that it will stream live at GarthBrooks.com beginning at 12PM ET.

Last week, the country superstar teased fans with a message reading “The wait is over.” He promised more details on July 7, and most speculated he was going to reveal a world tour. Last December, Brooks said he’d be touring in 2014, but aside from five shows in Ireland, nothing else has been announced.

Two of the five Ireland shows have been scrapped and Brooks is reported to have said he'll play all five, or none at all. Fans and city officials are currently scrambling to find a solution before the first show later this month.
