Gene Autry was the first country star to appear at the Tri-State Rodeo, which debuted in 1948. There is a complete list of past performers on the rodeo's website, which is a lot of fun to check out. According to TriStateRodeo.org, the announcement of the 2015 headliners will be made the first weekend in April.

Last year, Lee Brice and Easton Corbin performed. Dates for the 2015 Tri-State Rodeo are September 9 - 12. The rodeo takes place at the C.E. Richards Arena, just north of Ft. Madison.
