What an incredible experience. I highly recommend it and this weekend is your chance to take flight as well.

An aircraft built in 1929 and fully restored is at Quincy Regional Airport now through Sunday and anyone who wants to literally take flight in an incredible piece of history is welcome to. Rides will be given all weekend between 9am and 5pm and no sign up is needed. The cost is $75 for adults and $50 for kids 17 and under and trust me, it's well worth the money. This is likely to literally be a once in a lifetime experience.

The Ford Tri-Motor aircraft is on hand thanks to the Experimental Aviation Association, or EAA. It's seats 10 and everyone on board has both a window and an aisle.

The plane is famous as well for being in two movies. It appeared in the 1960 Jerry Lewis movie "Family Jewels" and in Johnny Depp's 2009 film "Public Enemies."

Do yourself a favor and take a ride in this piece of history while we have the chance locally this weekend... and don't forget your camera.

Speaking of that, enjoy some of the pictures I took and this video...
