Florida Georgia Line continue their record breaking streak with "Meant to Be," their collaboration with Bebe Rexha. Their current chart topper has reigned at the No. 1 position on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart for an unprecedented 40 consecutive weeks.

FGL now hold the record for the most weeks atop the 59-year-old Billboard chart. "Meant to Be" broke Sam Hunt's previous 2017 record with "Body Like a Back Road," which spent 34 weeks at No. 1.

“Meant to Be” was written by Rexha, Josh Miller, David Garcia and FGL’s Tyler Hubbard. The song's success has also garnered the duo several nods at the upcoming 2018 CMA Awards, including Single of the Year and Musical Event of the Year. The awards ceremony will air live from Nashville Nov. 14 on ABC.

"'Meant to Be' is bigger than us," Hubbard says in a statement. "To see how this song has connected to fans has been nothing short of a blessing, and having these CMA nominations makes it that much more special."

FGL's Brian Kelley agrees, adding, "'Meant to Be' has been reaching people worldwide for almost a full year now and it just keeps getting better. We're proud to be on this journey with Bebe and so excited for her first CMA nominations too."

In addition to its success on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, "Meant to Be" currently rules Billboard's Country Streaming Songs chart for its record-extending 36th week with 14.1 million U.S. streams, according to Billboard.

"Meant to Be" isn't the only success FGL is celebrating though. "Sittin' Pretty," the newest track Florida Georgia Line has released, debuted at No. 1 on the Country Digital Song Sales chart. The song's success marks the ninth No. 1 on the chart for the duo. "Sittin' Pretty" features lead vocals from Kelley and will be featured on the band's upcoming studio album, due out early 2019.
