Tim and Faith are just one of several famous couples in country music. Many country stars ended up marrying other famous entertainers. Here is a look at some of country music's famous couples.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill

Tim McGraw and Faith HIll met while performing a New Faces Show for country radio stations in Nashville. They both went on to become successful country stars, and fell in love while touring together. Tim and Faith were married in 1996. As a couple, McGraw and Hill recorded the duets 'It's Your Love' and 'I Need You,' both hits on country radio.

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood

Garth Brooks first successful album was released in 1989. Trisha Yearwood's debut followed in 1991. Both Brooks and Yearwood found themselves regularly on the top of the charts throughout the 90s. Garth Brooks proposed to Trisha Yearwood in front of fans at a 2005 concert in California. They were married later that year. Brooks and Yearwood recently released a new single, 'The Call.'

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert met during CMT's 100 Greatest Duets Concert. The pair dated for four years before Shelton proposed, and were married in 2011. It was recently announced that Miranda Lambert would be competing against her husband in the upcoming season of 'The Voice,' a reality competition that Shelton has judged since its debut on NBC. Lambert will be working as a mentor on the team of Shelton's rival judge, Shakira.

Vince Gill and Amy Grant

Vince Gill married Christian/Pop singer Amy Grant in 2000. The number of awards won between the two is staggering. Both have won multiple Grammys, Grant has won multiple Dove Awards (from the Gospel Music Association), and was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2003. Vince Gill has taken home several ACM Awards and CMA Awards, including two for Entertainer of the Year. Gill became a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2007.

Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black

Clint Black was famous as a musician, and while Lisa Hartman had recorded music, she was better known as an actress. The two married in 1991, and eight years later recorded the number one hit 'When I Said I Do.' Clint and Lisa also released a second duet for his 'Greatest Hits II' album. 'Easy for Me to Say' broke the Top 30 on the country charts.

Little Big Town - Jimi Westbrook and Karen Fairchild

Even though it is not uncommon for country stars to fall in love and marry one another, it is somewhat rare that members of the same group marry one another. That's exactly what happened to Jimi Westbrook and Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town. Little Big Town formed in 1998. Karen and Jimi married in 2006.

Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash

One of the most famous of all the couples in country music history. The story of Johnny and June Carter Cash has inspired songs, a musical, books, and an Academy Award winning film. Cash and Carter worked together for 35 years after their marriage. June Carter Cash died in May of 2003; Johnny's death followed that September.
