Eric Church is set to re-release his first three albums on colored vinyl this spring. First up is his debut album, Sinners Like Me, which will be released on red vinyl on Jan. 25. The reissue of 2011's Chief will also be red; it will be released on Feb. 15, while 2009's Carolina, pressed into vivid yellow vinyl, is due out in April. Each of the forthcoming albums can be pre-ordered via Universal Music Group Nashville's website.

Loretta Lynn will receive the Kris Kristofferson Lifetime Achievement Award at the National Songwriters Association International's Nashville Songwriter Awards this fall. The annual event will be held at the Ryman Auditorium on Sept. 17; that night, the organization will also present awards to its 2019 Song of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Songwriter-Artist of the Year, as well as unveil its 10 Songs I Wish I'd Written, a list of hits selected by Music City songwriters.

The Bellamy Brothers are set to release a brand-new album in February. Titled Over the Moon, the record will feature 14 new songs; it was recorded at the duo's own Bellamy Brothers Studio in Florida, according to Sounds Like Nashville. Over the Moon is set for release on Feb. 15.

Steve Earle and ZZ Top's Billy F. Gibbons will be inducted into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Association's Hall of Fame in February. The two will officially join the hall at the organization's upcoming Hall of Fame Awards Show on Feb. 23 at Austin's Paramount Theatre, along with Bob McDill and Christopher Cross. Rodney Crowell, Lee Ann Womack, Chris Layton and Shawn Camp will perform in tribute to the newly inducted artists. Tickets for the Texas Heritage Songwriters Association's Hall of Fame Awards are on sale now via the organization's website.

A scholarship honoring the musical legacy of iconic Nashville guitarist Harold Bradley, known for his playing on songs such as "Hello Walls" and "Stand By Your Man," has been established at Belmont University's School of Music. The scholarship, funded initially by an anonymous donor, will be awarded to "outstanding students in the music business program with an emphasis on guitar," according to a press release.

Texas country fixture Robert Earl Keen is the newest member of the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame. Keen received the honor at a ceremony at Fort Worth honky-tonk Billy Bob's Texas on Jan. 17 in recognition of his "prolific music career and charitable acts." Keen also received the Rick Smith Spirit of Texas Award, which is intended to "celebrate the achievements and uniqueness of Texans." In the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, Keen joins George Strait, Lyle Lovett, Willie Nelson, Pat Green, Clay Walker and more.

This summer, the Springer Mountain Farms Bluegrass Nights concert series will return to Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. Starting on June 20 with Billy Strings and the Steep Canyon Rangers, the six-show series will also feature performances from Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, the Earls of Leicester, Dailey & Vincent and more artists. Before each show, weather permitting, more live bluegrass will be heard at the free “Pickin’ on the Plaza” series held at the Ryman's Fourth Avenue Plaza. Tickets for the series are on sale now, and individual show tickets will be available starting at 10AM on Feb. 2 via Ryman.org.
