December 14, Historic Downtown Hannibal will come alive with Living Windows. Scenes of holiday merriment, from classic to cheeky, show off Hannibal's merchants' creativity! Fun activities for the children will also be in the downtown area. Don’t miss Music, Marshmallows and Mistletoe at the Y’Men’s Pavilion from 5– 6 p.m. The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Dept. will have all the makings for great Christmas memories around a toasty fire!

Also on December 14, the 2nd Annual Honor Tree Lighting will start at 7 p.m. Historic Downtown Hannibal invites everyone to stop and thank those that have bravely fought for our country with a special, personalized display of gratitude. Decked in red and blue lights, families are invited to come and decorate an ornament with the name or names of a member of the military, past or present.  “The holiday season is the perfect time to remember our family and friends that have served bravely to protect the freedoms we enjoy,” says Gail Bryant, Director of the Hannibal CVB.  “We are so proud of the efforts of the Historic Hannibal Marketing Council in making Hannibal’s Hometown Christmas an event with heart.”  Any funds raised from the Honor Tree will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.
