Up-and-coming country star David Nail will be coming to Springfield, Illinois on November 20.

Nail is a native of Kennet, Missouri, who signed his first record contract in 2002. He released a few singles before finally reaching the Top 10 on the country charts in 2009 with 'Red.' His song 'Let it Rain' reached the top of the charts in early 2012. 'Whatever She's Got' became his second No. 1 song in 2013. To date, Nail has released three studio albums, the first of which made the Top 20 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart, the second made the Top 10, and the third went Top 5.

David Nail will headline at Boondocks in Springfield on Thursday, November 20. Cody Johnson will open the show. Tickets are $20, and are available online. The concert will start at 7 p.m.

  • During the 2014 All-Star Break, Nail played in the Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game. He shared the Most Valuable Player award with rap star Nelly.
  • Nail - a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals - was chosen to sing 'God Bless America' during Game 7 of the 2011 World Series (which the Cardinals won).
