The next hearing in the case of a Quincy man accused of murdering his wife will take place outside of Adams County.

Attorneys for Curtis Lovelace announce that a July 8th motion hearing will happen in the Cass County Courthouse in Virginia. The judge assigned to hear the case is the resident judge in Cass County.

Lovelace’s attorneys are expected to argue for a change of venue in the case from Adams County. The case is scheduled to go to trial September 21st.

Curtis Lovelace is accused of killing his wife, 38-year-old Cory Lovelace in 2006. He was an Adams County Assistant State’s Attorney at the time.
