It was a flurry of concert announcements this morning over on Ballpark Village of St. Louis' Facebook page as seven country acts were announced to be performing in the Gateway City's entertainment center Friday nights throughout January and February.

The two month long run of shows kicks off on January 12th with up-and-comer, and Illinois native, Drew Baldridge. Missouri native Chris Janson hits the stage on the 19th, followed by American Idol season 10 champion Scotty McCreery on the 26th. Granger Smith will presumably bring Earl Dibbles, Jr along for his show on Groundhog Day. Josh Turner, Gary Allan and Brett Young round out the February show.

All-in-all, that's quite the solid line-up for winter shows. Any one of those acts would be great to check out, and I've got my eye on the Gary Allan and Josh Turner shows. Tickets for all the shows go on sale this Friday, November 10th at 10am. Right as I'm getting off-air and handing things off to Sam, so I may be firmly planted in front of my computer, credit card in one hand, hitting the F5 key with the other.
