Country stars Colt Ford and Trailer Choir will be playing 'Music With a Mission' at the Adams County Fairgrounds, to benefit the Mendon School District.

The show is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at the fairgrounds on Highway 336, just south of Mendon, Illinois. Gates open at 5pm and the show starts at 6pm with openers Jared Blake and Kyle Grubb.

Advance tickets are $20 and can be purchased online. More information is also available on Facebook. Tickets at the gate will cost $30.

Colt Ford brings his unique style of country music to the stage boasting an album, 'Declaration of Independence,' that debuted at #1 on Billboard Hot Country Albums chart in 2012. His latest, 'Drivin' Around Song' has sold over 400,000 digital downloads. The song is a collaboration with Jason Aldean. Colt has also joined forces with the likes of Jake Owen, Craig Morgan, John Michael Montgomery and Jamey Johnson. He is currently working on his 5th studio album.

Trailer Choir hit the country charts in 2009 with the fun 'Rockin The Beer Gut.' Member Vinny Hickerson was also a contestant on NBC's 'The Biggest Loser.'

'Music With a Mission' aims to help provide healthier, more enjoyable choices for kids and also supplements school arts programs. The campaign is sponsored nationally by Best Drug Rehabilitation. Local sponsors of this event are Gully Transportation and Hybrid Seed Company.
