Clutch Cargo – Too Obscure Of A Reference?

I was sitting in a room with my co-workers - four men aged 30, 44, 59, and 60. I made a reference to Clutch Cargo and nobody in the room knew what I was talking about.

I hate being in situations like this - I make a reference to something I believe is a well known pop-culture icon, only to hear the sounds of crickets.
