Quincy City Garbage Schedule Altered for the Holiday

It's hard to believe but Thanksgiving week is here. As a result, some Quincy City schedules will be changing including the garbage pickup schedule.

If you normally have your garbage and recycling items picked up on Thursday, you will need to get them to the curb on Wednesday instead this week.

There will be NO pickup on Thursday but there will be the usual Friday pickup. The only day affected is Thursday and again those with Thursday as their pickup day will have it collected this Wednesday instead.

City Hall and Central Services will be closed both Thursday and Friday this week and the city bus service will not operate on Thanksgiving Day but will return to their normal schedule on Friday.
