On Nov. 18, the final night of his All-American Road Show, in Omaha, Neb., Chris Stapleton and tourmate Brent Cobb offered a tribute to late AC/DC guitarist Malcolm Young. Readers can press play above to listen to Stapleton and Cobb take on the rock band's classic hit "You Shook Me All Night Long."

Stapleton's rock influences shine through in the smooth-as-glass, slowed-down and Southern-fried cover of "You Shook Me All Night Long," a classic headbanger ballad. Cobb takes lead on the second verse, a long-haired Southern rocker paying tribute to the metal band that moved so many. And Stapleton's invitation to the audience to help out with the tribute turned the cover into a stadium-wide sing-a-long.

Young died on Nov. 18, at the age of 64. He was living with dementia for many years; in fact, he retired in 2014, and was replaced in AC/DC by his nephew Stevie.

Stapleton wrapped up his All-American Road Show after spending the summer and fall on the road, touring throughout North America. His opening acts included Brothers OsborneLucie Silvas, Cobb, Anderson East and Margo Price, with a few surprise guests along the way. Stapleton recently won Album of the Year at the 2017 CMA Awards, for his From A Room: Volume 1 record, and Volume 2 of the project is due out on Dec. 1.
