The Champ Clark Bridge in Louisiana is back open full time.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, crews were able to get those 1,500 rivets replaced ahead of schedule, so no further bridge closures are needed.

Crews were also able to flush and stripe the bridge, again avoiding the need to shut down traffic on the bridge.

In a press release, MODOT expressed its appreciation to its work crews who got the work done so quickly, and to motorists for their patience while the work was being completed.
