With the expected weather, Cape Air and Quincy Regional Airport began notifying passengers last night that the last three flights today (Tuesday, February 4) would be preemptively cancelled, according to Jarred Hester, the Quincy Regional Airport Manager.

This early notification allowed travelers to make other arrangement or postpone travel plans until after the weather event. The goal is to give passengers concise decisions on what their travel options will be ahead of time, so they can plan accordingly.

The terminal will close for outbound travelers at 11:00 a.m this morning. The terminal will remain open for inbound travelers until all passengers and staff has safely departed the building.
