Burn Ban in Effect for City of Hannibal

The city of Hannibal implements a burn ban within the city limits until further notice.

In a press release from the Hannibal Fire Department, a combination of low moisture conditions, low humidity and higher wind conditions are listed as the reasons for the ban.

The fire department also reminds residents that the city continues to accept yard waste at the City Street Department facility on Warren Barrett Drive Monday through Friday from 8 to 4 and Saturday 8 to noon.
