CMT Crossroads has found its next match in Brett Eldredge and Meghan Trainor. The two stars will light up the stage in the latest episode of the cross-genre show that brings artists of different musical styles together for a unique performance.

The country crooner and bold pop star first met at a party in Los Angeles, where Eldredge asked her to be his duet partner on "Baby It's Cold Outside"—which is featured on his acclaimed Christmas album, Glow. The song will be part of the CMT Crossroads episode, along with Trainor's hits "All About That Bass," "No Excuses" and catchy new single "Let You Be Right."

Several of Eldredge's beloved tracks will also get a special spin when their voices come together on "Wanna Be That Song," "Drunk on Your Love" and "Haven't Met You."

Fans can also look forward to a spirited duet of the classic Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers number, "Islands in the Stream" during the concert, which was taped in spring of 2018.

“I just love Meghan’s sound—she’s got a funky, swaggy thing to her music that no one else is doing. She’s one-of-a-kind and I’m excited to perform with her again, this time on Crossroads," Eldredge says about his co-star in a press release. "We’re going to make everybody feel alive. We’re going to make them feel it in their hearts and their souls. We’re going to bring big vocals and magic moments.”

“Brett and I have known each other for a few years now, and I am such a fan of not only Brett’s music, but him as a person...I was thrilled to collaborate with him again on CMT Crossroads," Trainor adds. "He’s a superstar, and I was starstruck during the whole performance!"

The two powerhouse singers come together when CMT Crossroads airs on Sept. 3 at 10PM ET.
